About Scents of Style

Based in Niagara region, Ontario, Canada, Scents of Style began in 2021 while I was working at my Health Care job. Fueled by a passion for fragrances, every spare dollar was invested into building a collection to support a fragrance channel. In 2024, the channel reached over 5,000 subscribers due to consistent uploads and a commitment to grounded takes on men’s and unisex fragrances.

Behind the Channel

I’ve always been drawn to clear communication and thoughtful analysis. After a few years in journalism, I spent most of my career in information technology before transitioning into health care — a shift that brought me to the Niagara region from the Greater Toronto Area.

Scents of Style grew out of a personal passion for fragrance that turned into something a little more. What began as a collection and a curiosity evolved into a YouTube channel focused on clarity, and helping viewers find scents that actually fit their lifestyle. I approach every video with the same mindset I brought to previous work: do the research, respect people’s time, and say something worth saying.
